Zoom is not just simply a meeting app, it has chat function and integrated apps too. People who don’t use Zoom just for meeting purpose might find the situation uncomfortable.

I set the browser to block all notification requests by default and if there is a site that I really need notification to be turned on (e. g. Facebook Messenger) I would turn it on manually in the browser setting. In Chromium-based browsers you can change these settings using the padlock icon near the website address.

How about Amazon Lightsail? It price structure is basically the same with Hetzner or Linode, and you get it in-house if you use AWS.

My very first thought after seeing the headline: There is NO WAY antitrust regulators would approve such a deal, considering this is the biggest game acquisition ever.

But hey, at least better than being acquired by Tencent, eh?
