I'm not surprised, given the fragmented nature of Linux in terms of distro, packaging, and libraries. Given the low number of Linux gamers, there is probably no business case to deal with the support effort.
This is a strange thread for me. I have a 2021 16" Macbook pro. I use Teams every day, and have some long meetings. The memory use is about 1Gb. I have no issues with it. It is snappy and performant.
