Let alone the wind erosion from having exposed soil over winter.

I also and have gone to -46F and for me a thick wool sweater and wool felt coat makes huge difference. I can not even wear my wool sweater until it gets to -20F otherwise I will burn up :)

You must not be involved in the medical field to realize how bad it is especially when it come to diagnosis.

Did you read the report? Doesn't sound like it was safe for him.

Now we know why Isaacman was removed from nomination because he wouldn't have put up with this BS.

Considering nobody in the world can compete with SpaceX currently this seems purely political in nature. The EU is struggling to even come up with an answer to reusable rockets. China is the closest and will likely have something equivalent to the Falcon 9 within the next 2 years. But someone in the USA? People are delusional. Sure it is always best to have competitors but how did that work for Boeing/NASA/Starliner? You can't have two players/competitors if there is only one player in the entire world. And the reason why you need reusability is so that it is actually sustainable to use it! Does anyone here thinking this is a good idea have any idea how much it costs to launch SLS just once??

They could have delivered today if they weren't concerned about reusability.

Catching of a booster which everyone else thought was the stupidest craziest thing ever and they did it on first try.

Even on cloudy days you can generate power. Unless it is very thick clouds I generate enough for my base loads even in complete overcast skies because I have an "excess" of PV panels.

In case you didn't realize he is looking to store ALL of the summer generation into a battery and generate zero power in winter.. so rely entirely off of a battery during winter.. which is absolutely no feasible for a normal person and nobody would ever do.

And the price of the egg?

Nobody seems to think twice about storing gasoline, heating oil, diesel, and/or propane around their place.

For some reason in the USA there is only a single state that has approved that (Utah).

You forgot to mention anybody who has a yard that gets full sun can mount panels there as well. As far as fires you can say same thing about all the fires that currently occur because of propane, gas, and heating oil. Those have become some engrained in society for so long that you don't even think of that as a "fire hazard therefore you shouldn't even have it".

I'm fully off grid today with no issues, even had power company remove power poles. I do heat with wood however. AC in the summer is no issue since that is when I get the most sun anyways.

And yet we still have no place to put that "clean" energy when it is depleted.

Complexity for the developer and simplicity for the user had been an underlying mantra in macOS development for decades. Only in the past 10 years or so has there been a lot of effort to try and also simplify the developer side.
