Please post some detailed analyiys of what's going on here. What data gets out? What type of suspicious activities?

    They know my gmail passwords.

- Have you tried package-capturing with wireshark on the internet connections your laptop makes?

    Yes.

- Are you sure that there's no other attack point in your network that could be more easily infected than a BIOS?

    Can be.

- Have you checked your phone for instance?

    Downgraded the phone.

- Have you checked the Master Boot Record of your harddrive?

    Yes.

- Have you checked your router?

    Don't have access.

- Have you tried unhackme (rootkit scanner) ?

    Yes.

A BIOS is very device specific, which would mean that either somebody finds you very interesting on a level that's NSA-tech worthy, or China hackers just leveled up.

I have a hard time just believing this, and there's a ton of attack angles that would be much more efficient to bug someone.

     I am facing it.

    Where else shall I go to resolve the crisis?

IMO people get slightly offended/feel bad if you unfollow them.

But as a gesture of politeness, you might want to follow someone who has followed you and is close to you, but at the same time you would not want to listen to all his tweets, in that case, silence might work, and not unfollowing.

so how many people do you follow? and do you read all the tweets in the timeline? have you never got irritated by the crap that people come up with? for me its like, i get irritated and my fuse shorts :) and then hit back with a biting tweet, which is actually a result of getting irritated on the BS tweets which I find in the TL.

due to these reactive tweets I have lost couple of followers over time ;)

having read your thoughts, do you think, there can be something like zero inbox for twitter??

Running it alone is pain, I can do things on my own, but that model does not scale. It takes too long. Besides I can't be expert at everything. So I need to add people with complementary skillsets.

I make sure people gel well with me, but you can't give everything you got to a new comer, no matter how genuine he appears, right?

I can't go on trusting someone straightaway. He is a front end guy, but heavily investing time in learning python and sys admin stuff.

He appears genuine to me, but still, one should be cautious and keep in mind and think for future, if something goes wrong, precautionary measures should be in place.

It will take some more time, and some sort of litmus test to validate if he is trustworthy. All that glitters is not gold, right?
