Disclaimer: I use they/them pronouns. As far as I’m concerned, there’s two ‘gender neutral concepts’, people who you don’t know the pronouns of, and people who explicitly use gender neutral pronouns. If he wanted to refer to people as per by default, I don’t care, you do you. But as soon as I tell someone that I go by they/them, I would absolutely expect them to respect that. By reading his article on pronouns, it sounds as though he likely would not do so.
Do you have any details on the compute resources available? How much ram do we get, are GPUs available? I can’t find anything on pricing, so I’m assuming it’s free, at least for the time being?
This article leaves me with several questions: once a website is revealed to be fraudulent, is there not a way for the advertisers to get their money back? And are none of the advertisers suing the people behind the fraudulent websites?
As a college student, I consistently put in 60-80+ hours a week into my studies. I know this is just one data point, but I think your estimate of what it takes to be a student is way off. However, I do take a lot of classes, and do research, so I may be on the upper end.
It's not free, but IDA Pro has tracing functionality similar to what you want. There are bootleg copies if you look hard enough, an old version (5.0) free for windows only, and feature limited demos.
It's a bit dense, but I found the first few chapters to be the worst. Once you get past the dull beginning, the rest is really interesting. I think it's a GREAT book! (We used it in all of my algorithms classes.)
I actually took a laptop, and took it apart (for other reasons). Putting it back together, I purposely didn't put on the screen. It works just fine. I usually use it over ssh, but I can plug in a monitor, and it does think that the internal monitor is still connected. So, I think you can do that on regular hardware. I'm not blind, so I wouldn't know how to operate it without the display, though.
