"Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, has rolled out campaign proposals over the past month that include major increases in federal R&D spending, with a focus on clean energy and emerging technologies."
Yes, the report refers to the (US) Vietnam War and the Rolling Thunder campaign, which took place in the 1960s.
Can the OP change the title to refer to 1967?
I tried the Touch Bar at the Apple Store, and after tapping on it for various items, I then found myself tapping on the lower part of the screen as well, which of course doesn't work. It just left me feeling that the Touch Bar is a clunky halfway solution, and that having full touchscreens (like on the new Windows machines) is more natural and intuitive.
Yes, I got a bad feeling about the RISE conference (run by the same people who run WebSummit). There was no pricing on their web page, and then some sales person called to make an offer of a startup booth at a very high price (even after discount). I can understand that running conferences can be expensive, but somehow it felt like a scam.
Actually this is what happened to us... our AWS credentials had accidentally been put into Github for a hackathon project several months ago.
Coincidentally, the incident also occurred around the same time (April 1-2). We were hit with $13,000 worth of EC2 usage before we shut them down and changed our AWS key... We reported to Amazon, and they are working on a refund.
