Yeah. New project at my work is to get everyone onto a stripped down Windows 10 dumb terminal with IE and MS Office installed, no admin rights, no extra software.
I flat out refused to upgrade. I'm a software engineer. You want me catting, grepping and manipulating files on OneCloud ? really?
You want my VMs (also not allowed by default) to be stored in one cloud?
I have an x220 still. My whole chassis is cracked, my fan grinds like crazy, my lid has been broken since day 1. the thing is tough even though it's pretty much broken in every possible way it still runs fine and since i have the 9 cell battery as well I still get 5-6 hours from it.
I think might next upgrade might have to be the x62
I think the biggest issue of SystemD was not only the controversial development process, but the dependencies of other projects like udev into SystemD's repo and packaging.
This fails the do one thing and one thing well test very badly. This entire this can be managed by a window manager already. Managing information frames should happen at the WM level, not the bastardized versions of it like this, or man IDEs, or mysqlworkbench, etc
This really stinks. on the syrian civil war there is very little news out of warzones but that released by Amaq, HTS, or one of many 'terrorist' organizations. And according to the US who is a terrorist, and according to russia is a terrorist is all different. Its sometimes hard to track down old footage of the war because they're all removed form youtube
