I’m pretty plugged in to aviation news and I had to look up what you were talking about. That seems like an odd thing to be excited about along with Boom. Do they have any kind of prototype yet? I don’t see any major stories about them since 2025.
This is the same as the one that the Python Docs serve, but it has syntax errors. There are PRs that will fix them, but Greg Malcom hasn't made any changes in 3 years.
Anyone know if this has been officially abandoned or what? It would be nice to not be greeted with syntax errors when trying to learn a new language.
I can’t stand how journalists continue to call radical, precedent destroying, policy changes “conservative”. They are not “conservative” justices. They are radicals regardless of whether or not you agree with them.
> Over the past two decades, airlines have stopped using it as a passenger plane and replaced it with smaller aircraft that are more efficient, but far less majestic and memorable. The 747 was once a symbol of American might, invention, progress, and populism. Now it embodies the decline of all of those values.
Can some explain why replacing it with more efficient, and still American, jets is somehow a negative for American might, progress, and invention?
I’m seriously confused. It’s broken for me on multiple devices and multiple browsers. The CSS has the wrong mimetype so it’s not loading. Text is all over the place.
Their CSS has been broken for at least a week now, and I've gotten no reply to emails.
I'm not trying to do tech support here, I just think it's bizarre that a major research university could just have a broken website for this long. It makes me wonder if they've been ransomwared or something.
Corey Doctorow addressed this in a way I hadn't thought of before. Meta is a "mature" company, masquerading as a "growth" company by expanding into new markets without any real product, all so they can pretend they haven't fully saturated their market.
The cannonballs should have randomized elevation as well so that "raking" the bow and stern is more likely to get hits than hitting the side. Hits on the bow and stern should also do more damage. Cross the T!
