It’s really sad how tribalist politics have pervasively overtaken rational discussions. I dream of discourse that doesn’t devolve into conversations about leftists, conservatives, and various interest groups.
I’d imagine this line of thinking is what Apple hopes for, people burdened with the luxury of choice who just want someone to tell them what they want.
I feel like this is sarcasm but the real answer is you should act appropriately for your surroundings. Someone else’s event is not your platform, especially so in this case.
You're too wrapped up in the grand vision to invite us for the ride. Don't do that. Give us a quick and concise summary without jargon or marketing flair. If you can't express it in a few sentences, it's not ready.
I think a lot of the problems we face today are largely unacknowledged by those who create them. The delivery lacked any empathy but does not make it less true. Actions have consequences and ignorance of those outcomes doesn’t mean you can escape them. The world would be a little bit better of a place if we’d stop coddling those who float haphazardly through their own existence.
