This is how i kicked facebook out of my life 3 years ago.
I made it a habit to only log in to facebook in incognito mode, i would have to log back in every time i close the session, and that was enough to remove it completely from my life.
Me too, i can never quite seem to remember names, it can be very embarrassing, sometimes i even forgot the names of my cousins i haven't seen in a long time.
My theory is that, we don't internalise names and link it to the respective person for it to be anything memorable. but what do i know...
whats ER ?
I did LSD twice, first time was a 100 ug dose, it was pleasant experience.
10 days later i did a 250 ug dose. first 2 hours was the best hallucinations of my life :), then there was an electricity shortage for a few minutes where i live, that darkness scared the hell out of me i panicked and had a strong shortness of breath. needless to say it was a shocking experience. had random panic attacks that persisted for 2 month.
LSD is very powerful and surly is no joke.
i have a 13inch macbook pro and a desktop with 25 inch screen, i rarely ever see floaters on the laptop but i do on the desctop. so a maximized browser is a big no no.
I had perfect vision before i got the floaters and people faces started to look more and more blurry as time went by, was learning programming these days. the eyestrain and headache caused me some depression. it was only after i got the glasses i didn't feel so much eyestrain anymore and stopped to notice the floaters.
my glasses have anti-reflex they filter the blue wave, so it made things easier.
except when i look at bright light, or if i am tired. they will always be there. forever... unless you do an operation, which you should not do unless they are causing real issue for your sight.
i have had them for 6 years now, panicked the first year or two i had them because they were so many and you can't just look away...
but i get my eyes checked every 6-12 month, and see if i need correction for my astigmatism.
I remember when i first started using the computer late into the night, around 3 am. that sure caused some problems, including floaters and astigmatism.
one factor people miss is that, it's not just the amount you spend staring at screen that causes eyestrain and headache, but also how focused you are, we squint a lot when we focus and that appearantly is an issue, looking at a screen for 3 hours without having to think hard versus 1 hour of hard squint, the 1 hour is more damaging. for me at least...
nice, as a web developer i wanted to try my hands on making a game. which turned out to be much harder than i thought, and also see if i could do any thing with c lang, never wrote a program more than ~15 lines of code in c, so i build a tetris game, using SDL lib.
funny thing is i also represented shapes like you did as 0 or 1 on plane, but then changed to x,y list of blocks.
