just tell investors to look at adjusted net ebitda. you'll be fine, they won't even notice (sarcasm because you need this stuff spelled out for you)

It called the fully adjusted number “community adjusted Ebitda,” by which it subtracted not only interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, but also basic expenses like marketing, general and administrative, and development and design costs. Those earnings were $233 million, WeWork said.

has anyone cared about net income in decades? maybe it's about signaling to investors, "we have 100s of people working on [emergent technology]"

whenever I see [select distinct ... group by] , i know i'm in for some bs. the original code creator had some duplication/cartesians but never properly addressed it

Live in an apartment and don't have dimmer switches. I like the cool colors that they make. I hate the phone app aspect.

why do people use right joins. i'll never understand it. especially in this case you when you can just query purchases directly and joining to users is pointless.

just for clarity ordering your where clauses can matter right? I've tested it and it made a difference, i'm not hallucinating right

making new friends!

i don’t in my hometown and didn’t go to school near my home state.

old friends get harder to see every passing year. it’s just incrementally harder to stay in touch given the geographical distance. i do text and visit when i can

gonna take your advice and cut off the people i’ve met because hospitalJail is skeptical!

Appreciate you providing insight into my life

man I did this with facebook and it obliterated my social connections. it doesn’t make sense from a micro perspective, game theory sucks man

i installed instagram in december and it’s so much easier to make friends. I feel in touch with what’s going on in the community

especially on a programming forum. Knowing Python, SQL, and R has been hugely beneficial. I can read Ruby scripts and colleagues can talk me through JS without me ever writing those.

Would be surprised if knowing multiple spoken language didn't help at all!

i’m of then opinion it’s the other way around. with better technology you can get better reference tracks and push your artistic limits.

you’ll be able to create more music as a result. and get clearer feedback on the end result

imo the mixing engineers are better used to make your ideal vision stronger. also make the drums hit and ensure the guitar doesn’t clash.

if you just use them to make vocals sound pleasant, it’s going to be less valuable

just buy cla vocals and waves autotune (tune real-time) from waves. it uses automated parameters to “fix” your voice

downvotes incoming from real musicians and audio engineers but for less than 100 bucks you can get your vocals 80% of the way there.

imo it’s amazing for songwriting

idk about well off, his mother was an english teacher not a hedge fund exec.

nothing wrong with hiring people.

If you dislike autotune and pop music, i think that’s valid. but it’s really a function of artists responding to consumer preference. there are plenty of high quality niche artists who don’t have the mainstream appeal or success

>The worst days dealing with idiot product management and never-ending Jira tickets don't compare to unloading a truck in a hot warehouse or kneeling in a crawlspace for hours re-piping a sewer line.
