I agree with this comment! Also, Anger by Thicht Naht Hanh focuses a lot on the concept of compassionate listening.

This isn't a partisan issue. Individuals have been "cancelled" for as long as individuals who hold power disagree with individuals who hold less power (collective or individual).

Good...this should have been done sooner considering all the accusations.

Hoping this sets a new precedent and we begin to see more police officers held accountable for using violent and deadly force and a reform to policing practices. Grateful we have the technology in the form of video recording to bring this accountability to the police as a populace.

I am aware. I'm just asking a follow up question to understand your understanding of those folks in your program.

Were you friends with many of the women and non-white students? Did they share their experiences with you?

Thank you for this comment. I can't believe I have to read someone say Indian food looks like excrement and then have the first response be that the comment about Spain is the most offensive... Indian food is incredible, its delicious and vibrant. I think it is obvious the original commenter has never tried to cook Indian food from scratch and so has never had the opportunity to taste Indian food at each stage of the cooking process and learn how beautifully the flavors play on each other as the taste profile of the dish grows in complexity throughout the cooking process. Nor did they apparently care to read the article which says essentially the same thing. Such a gross elitist comment and blatant racism it is odd how it encapsulates the original shift away from spices. Huh.

I live near a busy road, close to an intersection with a stoplight, and have my desk at a window that faces said road. The constant slowing a revving of traffic around the light is very distracting and I run an air purifier on high throughout the day to stabilize the noise and drown out the shifting traffic noises. I have also shifted my desk so that it does not overlook the road and thus I don't have to watch individuals sitting at the light all day. These two adjustments have made a positive impact on my focus when I'm working.

While I am excited for EVs to become more mainstream, I'm afraid for roads such as mine where the speed limit is 40 and people often drive 50+ that the quiet engine won't make much of a difference given the speed and that the sound of tires on the road and wind rushing around the vehicle are still somewhat loud in their own right. It makes me want to move to a more rural environment where the loudest noise is the refrigerator.

Just because he didn't make money because he's a failure at business and his particular ventures were negatively affected by the coronavirus (the explanation given in your article) completely ignores that he funneled a substantial amount of tax payer dollars into his private ventures by spending so much time there with his security detail.

Personally,I would like to see this happen in both parties. A seperate party for tea party fatalists and a seperate party for leftist-progressives. I think such a change would be helpful for better parsing out where each proportion of the populations values lie outside of the RNC/DNC framework.

The general party isn't being steam rolled though? The GOP held more seats than expected in the house and senate.the general party still has robust representation. They are just deplatforming the most extreme members who seem to be the most predisposed to violence.

I don't think everyone who voted for trump is aligned with the most seditious followers....at the end of the day there are really only two parties to vote for and a lot of different issues lumped into those two parties...single issue voters (e.g.,those against abortion) are going to vote for the Republicans. It also wasn't half the country, it was less than half of everyone who voted which was ~25% of the country. While it's still a substantial number of people I think saying that its half the country and that they all support the most heinous party leaders is disingenuous.

But we can all build a better future together. :)

The comment you are replying to says nothing about redistributing wealth...only that people should have the material resources they need. To your point, however, when people are not being payed appropriately for their productivity and executives are making excessive amounts of money than what one could ever need in a lifetime that is the truly fraudulent redistribution of wealth.

I moved to Arizona a few year ago. DST is not practiced here and it is so nice. Even if you can bounce back from the physical toll of DST relatively quickly there is still a substantial amount of psychological anticipation regarding DST thay I, n=1, really enjoy no longer thinking about...
