macOS scaling is the way to go here. I have been using LG 27UD88-W 4K monitor which is set to 2560x1440 and it works perfectly without any noticeable distortions.
I would say the price is the biggest factor here. Stylus is not necessary but to make it work/feel like computer, you definitely need a smart keyboard. Now all this in total is way more expensive than almost any Chromebook on the market.
Yes, as I said everyone is different so you need to test it out. For example I felt very bad after using Pyracetam. There was no improvement of my focus ability, in fact I was sleepy and head hurt.
I have an inattentive type of ADHD and have tried almost everything to help me be a bit more focused when working. From prescribed Ritalin and Concerta (basically an extended version of Ritalin) to nootropics such as Pyracetam etc. Now the Ritalin of course had the biggest effect in terms of focus but after a while I started to feel like a zombie and junkie (lots of jittering, bad mood etc). So one day I decided to flush everything into a toilet and decided to only use available nootropics, not doctor prescribed medications. After a while I discovered DMAE and after 6 months of using it (350-500mg daily) I can say it is almost as effective as Ritalin for me without those nasty side effects and come-downs. The good thing about DMAE is that it helps me focus, yet it still feels natural without that "speedy feeling" effect of Ritalin. Now of course everyone is different and I know some people getting headaches from DMAE and no real results. You really need to test out what works best for your brain.
No, because most of these books are bullshit allowing their authors getting rich by selling them to people who look for some kind of "magic success formula" :)
I bought Bose QC35 2 weeks ago and I am absolutely thrilled about them. The noise cancelling is almost perfect and when I have them on and somebody speaks to me I really don’t hear anything. Unlike many other headphones I have tried they are also very comfortable. I tried Sony MDR-1000x and to be frank their noise canceling is maybe even better than the Boses, however they are so tight on my head I know I wouldn’t be able to wear them for more than an hour.
I recently moved to San Diego from Central Europe and because some of my projects are based in Europe, my mornings (well if we can call them like that) are a bit tough :) as I wake up at 3:35 AM in order to be available to my European team during noon.
It is very surprising though, how a body can adapt to situation like this and after some adjustment period you feel rested even after 4-5 hours of sleep. The key for me is:
1. do a physical activity at least 4-5x times per week - swimming or running.
2. use Sleep Cycle app for iPhone
3. take my favourite DMAE pills
4. eat healthy
