Together with my girlfriend we are traveling with an electric car from the Netherlands to South Africa and back. We are currently in Morocco.
With the help of two partners we are getting an enormous amount of data out of the car via the OBD port of the car. If you can think of it, it is probably an paramater that is measured, liked G-force meter, if we buckled up, cellular reception of the car and so on.
What would be nice, beside the obvious like we already have on our website (SOC, altitude, speed and soon windspeed and direction), to show on our website? And what combination of data would be interesting to analyse?
At the moment one of our partners is making this dashboard with the help of students. We are allowed, to a certain extent, to share datasets, if you would be interested to play with it.
Soon we will share more facts and figures about our expedition after the dashboard is set.
Search for “Bernard van Dijk” on LinkedIn. He is a professor on an Aviation University. He has a very solid story about why hydrogen will never work in airplanes.
I’m addition, a well explained video about it:

Any change we can get it contact with you? For our project www.4x4electric.com we would like to visit different Zipline projects in Africa to generate more attention for this kind of projects
Can come CO from candles as well? We do not have any flames inside as we cook with induction, we only use candles as indoor flames.
Nice fact: Here in the Netherlands a fire alarm will be obligated starting from this summer
Good idea! We are already in contact with Lightyear. They like our idea, but are to busy at the moment to be part of our project. We wil contact the solar teams!
Together with my girlfriend I’m planning a trip.
Driving from the Netherlands to South Africa and back with an EV.
We want to charge the car with solar panels we bring with us.
See our website for more details: www.4x4electric.com
Challenge for now: how to charge the car with ~60m2 of flexible solar panels.
We need a threephase offgrid solar system, but did not find a suitable solution yet.
Long showers.. in the Netherlands most of the houses are connected to natural gas for heating and showering. We installed multiple solar panels and a heat pump, so we do not use any natural gas anymore (cooking is also electrical). This means we cannot shower all day long, but it is worth it to use only electricity!
So this kind of things with the front door open, can someone access my Wifi network with it? Knowing when I'm home (if my phone is not connected to the Wifi network)?
You can still buy Philips Hue items, they do regular updates.
I have heard this too, but mostly because there where looking for something that is not there. Example: if finding your true yourself is like peeling of an onion, the can peel a lot, but at some point, the reach the core where there is nothing to peel anymore. I have never reach this state and it is not at all my goal. I think it has something to do with ego. Doing psychedelics makes ego less important. But if you do it too much, you lose your ego too. Living without ego is not possible in my opinion..
Me and my girlfriend are microdosing LSD for the past couple of weeks. We both are very outgoing persons, but due to Corona, our life is really boring which makes our mental state not as positive as it was. We notice that we have more acceptance to the Corona situation. Especially the “bad” days, the microdosis makes the day much more acceptable.. I’m aware that this is a very brief explanation. If you are very interested in this, please let me know, happy to chat or call about it.
