In NYC, you can trespass anyone from a private business at any time and for no reason at all.

NY Penal Law § 140.00 says a person in premises open to the public is there with license/privilege unless they defy a lawful order not to enter or remain, personally communicated by the owner or another authorized person.

So, in plain English:

“You have to leave. You are not allowed back.”

The owner does not need to say: “You have to leave because…”

There was a ton of hoopla around this when Radio City and MSG trespassed lawyers that were suing the company and venues.

Everyone was up in arms and nothing happened.

One of the better teardowns I've seen in some time.

No problem, the money will rotate out of the mega corps that do almost nothing into the next generation that is in the process of changing the world!

Beautiful work. Reminds me of Twilight on IRIX.

Who is the worst actor when it comes to mass surveillance?

Government or big tech?

I left them years ago when they wouldn't package a download for restore. Total waste of money and false sense of security.

This is why you never connected a "smart TV" to the internet. If you disagree, do it and then run a Wireshark analysis. The best option I have found, after trying them all is Apple TV. Least about of telemetry, best picture quality, and very secure.

Yea, that Sam only does this because, "he loves it." They're not in it for the money.

I truly do not understand why anyone thinks serious work can be done with their models, let alone government work. Their models do no hold a candle to Open AI.

I'd love for someone to show us an OS (not just a kernel) that is more secure.

The Leahy Law requires the U.S. government to facilitate receipt of information about alleged abuses by U.S. supported forces.

The State Department confirms it no longer operates the HRG, but says it is still receiving reports through other direct channels.

I couldn't find any requirement in the law that requires a public website.

NGOs can still submit information through established contacts or by email.

I would think email is a lot easier than a webform.

I still don't know why anyone would use AWS hosting.

It's a completely different approach but checkout F. Kenton Musgrave's implementation of multi fractals for terrain generation.
