Not sure why my comments are getting flagged, but I read that nuclear family units came.about in Europe/England in the 13th century. It's not a modern creation, but for some reason everyone thinks they are.

Not with Latinos or Asians. They heavily rely on extended families.
I believe you need it to figure out the total population of females who do not commute, from which you can then subtract from the total population (male and female) who do not commute to find the answer.
