Okay, so they are in it to grow their assets, so they can leverage them in their life in this world. And those assets probably get evaluated or assessed at some point, and get assigned some numerical value. And the unit of measurement used for that evaluation may be referencing something like a currency, that other people can understand for its use as a medium of exchange. I see that is very different than money.

Nobody is jealous. They are pissed that excessively wealthy people can pay their way to success and influence the US government, for their continued personal gain. It’s about fairness and democracy, not luxury.

Think for a second… If money doesn’t give people power… then what’s all the fuss about??

Most people are only able to vote for candidates that are chosen and campaigned by the monied interests. We can blame the people for not seeing how the system works sooner… but really that’s not who is acting out of line…

Are we not past past critical mass though? The velocity at which these things can out compete human labor is astonishing, any future human creations or original content will already have lost the battle the moment it goes online and gets cloned by AI.

Don't disagree that new wealth is being created, what matters when talking about quality of life and inequality, is who are the beneficiaries of this new wealth? Is it the already wealthy? If so, that's part of the positive feedback loop to drive inequality further. More assets, Yay. Held by fewer and fewer people over time. Boo.

We don't give everyone more money. Just the people who don't already have too much.

You clearly did not understand my comment... Overton window still the same fit. shrug

You could also call this "defending against anti-american expansion". Which seems like a thing foreign adversaries would love for the US to stop doing, if only they had a few folks on the inside to help them...

I appreciate your willingness to engage. I've lost the willpower to believe I can do anything to lift the veil. They are too scared...imagine the sheer panic of your belief system being challenged, when you've already got an insecure and victim mindset that MAGA has exploited.

I almost want to just hold their hands as they tremble through widening their overton window.

The fact you can't recognize how propaganda can distort the reality of the issues you are listing above, makes one question if you actually understand what propaganda is, or have any interest in understanding reality.

I won't ever claim it's a simple picture, but there's enough peer-reviewed information out on the web to elaborate on your 3 rather unspecific talking points. We can hold your hand if it's too scary to google each of your issues above, I do have empathy that changing ones belief system is scary, but the alternative is delusion.

And an average human can probably ingest 400 calories in under a minute, with significantly less fatigue.

These skull whistles were used by Erykah Badu, Marc Rebillet, and Reggie Watts on their collaborative stream session. It’s quite a fun jam to witness those three discover the sound.

The sensor you’re describing is usually called an accelerometer.

I think that’s a pretty sideways reaction to someone who is just arguing for parents to actually parent their children, rather than let computers do a worse job.

Attentive, authentic parenting is pretty well agreed upon by modern society to be a good thing for all people.

Not after one prescribed dosage though…that’s the point.

Cool research. The assessed conditions are very tightly controlled, and I wish they better described the sensing mechanism used for the feedback in the “vibration mediated suppression” method. but the new material approach is promising however, as it’s much less intrusive than other approaches.

I was intrigued, but acoustically it doesn’t make a lot of sense really…the thrust exhaust where all the fast moving air comes out, also happens to be where all the loud comes out too. Their renderings don’t look like the engines are far enough forward for the fuselage to provide any significant obstructions to the path of sound from the exhaust down to the ground.

If the green bubbles didn’t violate Apples own accessibility standards for text contrast (https://medium.com/@krvoller/how-iphone-violates-apples-acce... would agree it’s a silly complaint. But there is no technical limitation requiring that a message be less readable because it came from an Android. So it’s not just “less cool” they actively make the user experience worse for you when you are messaging someone that doesn’t have an iPhone.
