Theres been some drama with this game where a few of the core admins have claimed ownership and sold out to a publisher. They are taking the free open source game and selling it on steam with a free demo. In addition to the toxic community, its made the whole thing a bit radioactive. Curious to see how it all plays out.
Zvezda has been leaking since 2019. That doesn't seem sudden and without warning to me. I imagine its going to continue to leak until the ISS is decommissioned.
I was pretty disappointed with how Factorio reworked how fluids worked in the expansion. The old system had its quirks and the new system is obviously more performant, but it throws realism out the window which is a bummer.
I would imagine a trajectory similar to AlphaGo, it starts out trying to replicate humans and then at a certain point pivots to entirely self-play. I think the main hurdle with llms, is that there isn't a strong reward target to go after. It seems like the current target is to simply replicate humans, but to go beyond that they will need a different target.
From what I found on MDN "a side effect to the block in one agent will eventually become visible in the other agent", what does the word eventually mean there, what's going on under the hood?
