I was a freshman at the University of Washington in 1993 when the graphical internet was born. Crazy to think about those early days, given the ubiquity of the internet in almost every aspect of modern life. I (erroneously?) remember a "What's New" web page that listed every new site on the internet as they appeared. It was comprehensible back then, despite being insane now (and incomprehensible even 15 years ago).
I drew a 9 page DTM that implemented binary multiplication for an assignment in a CS class at USC (southern cal) in the mid-90's. It is my favorite CS illustration. However, I am certain that no one else would be interested in it, as it is very specific, archaic, and personal.
