Yes, it has for quite a while now. To be clear, .NET Core is cross-platform. .NET Framework (old/existing) is still Windows-only. You can target both by targeting .NET Standard. Still confusing, I know :(

Job Requirements
Required skills and experience:
A minimum of five years experience developing web-based software
Strong understanding of software development in C#, the .NET framework
Strong understanding of MVC, ASP.NET, SQL
Solid understanding of Javascript and a front end framework (ex, Knockout, Angular, React)
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, XML
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Fast learner & strong team player
Version control, continuous integration methodologies (git, Jenkins)
Mastery of the pirate effect in Google hangout
Ironic considering the username. In most people's instances, I wouldn't consider this a good idea. At least until you've shown good traction for a few months of adding new customers.
Ship a product. By doing that, you'll have to figure out SO much stuff from front to back. Doesn't even have to be your product, it could be moonlighting project. Just ship something from start to finish.
