I don't see the problem here.
People are buying a shelf company for good credit score? it is the credit scoring that is defunct. fix it, and the problem will go away.
People are using shell companies to hid assets? improve transparenty and book keeping rules.
and so on.
as I see it, it is the old American way. everyone is welcome to stare in the street. if you want to eat something, find something useful to do that other people will pay you for.
this policy attract the ambitious and smart, and this is what made US to what it is today.

So they are basically asking Baidu to un-cencor US-based searches? this is somewhat reasonable.
Just like Google works in each country according to the local rules.

The Perl community is pretty pleased with the state of things.
The Moose object system is stable and amazing, and I'm sure future language designers will take not and copy it. Plus a new book just went out 'Modern Perl', that talks also about it.
The Perl 6 - rokudo is a usable Perl 6 implementation, already reasonable fast and getting faster every release, and bringing new features from the spec.
The release team of Perl 5 is working too, making a new version every two years, with new toys for us to play.

this is quite a problematic topic in Israel.
There are two point of views in the the country, Ashkenazy-European and Sfarady-Eastern.
The European point of view is that religion in true-false question. either you are religious or you are one. The Eastern point of view is the religion is more of a scale. you can accept some of the rules of the religion, skip the rest, and still be religious person.
The army obviously want to go the European way, as it gives it a clear definition that it can work with. On the other hand, the Eastern point of view is backed by a strong political force, so it is a very fine line that the army is walking on. it need to be very careful before accusing a girl of lying of being religious.
(and yes, when it makes mistakes it become a political argument. very messy)
All this and not a word about what about a religious girl that sometime after declaring itself as so decide to become not religious.
We teach math linearly, because we follow the child's brain development.
numbers are quite an abstract things, and proportion is even more so. the next step, the percentage, add relative point of views too. you just can't teach that to a child that literally can't tell his right from his left.
Well, you can, but he won't really understand it and it is effort down the drain.
So I know that here we all are CS/EE/whatever, and probably knew more math then our elementary school teachers, but there is a reason to these steps, even if the said teacher never know about it.
