Sounds like a pretty neat program, Have you played around with Voice Access The application included with Windows? I'm using it right now to type this message. Unfortunately I can't use programs that have a push to talk as I am paralyzed from the neck down... But believe me when I say It's nice to see someone working on text to speech And that any improvement or new application can only make mine and people like me lives better. I haven't really done much with the open AI offerings but I do use Gemini CLI and it is exhausting To the point where my throat gets dry and I have to drink some water if I want to Keep working** Edit** drinking water involves me calling a care aid to assist me!
what effect if any will the solar flare emissions have on the new ish constellation style satellite networks? and or vice versa? EG would a shielded group or constellation provide a pathway for charge particles around the Earth?

If true, the things they have achieved are "AWESOME" and "FANTASTIC" but the rant came off kind of "AWE-TASTIC"
I wonder if there may be some value in them hiring someone else to "Recompile" the books they wrote to make them more palatable. Of course I have not read the books, they may be page turners. I just wanted to offer something constructive instead of just putting them down.
It's really a shame how that happens, it is pretty much a universal problem. I have seen people get into physical fights and shouting matches IRL charitable organizations where everyone is volunteering their time.
The OP's feelings are probably justified and I can empathize with them but the rant was still jarring and probably won't have any impact on the haters but will affect others.

I have no experience or knowledge regarding Wayland, infact this post was the first I have heard of it. That being said, if the author's rant truly reflects the attitude of the community, it's sounds pretty toxic.
I just gave Starlink my address as per the email request they sent out today.
I'm currently on an 5Mb down 1Mb up LTE connection with a total data limit of 250Gb/Month for the low price of 100 bucks a month. I do have very low latency < 20ms, but last month my friends kid was over and managed to burn through 95 gigs playing and updating some game called PubG that ended up putting me over my limit and I got to pay an extra 50 bucks for the next tier of usage.
If I get the opportunity to try out Starlink I will be more than happy to do so as it's very frustrating being forced to use an ISP monopoly provider, especially when there is fiber available to properties less than 5 miles away from mine.
