One example is the introduction of MIMO, a technique to send multiple data streams in the same frequency band in parallel. This requires multiple antennas, i.e. hardware which wasn't there in the previous wifi version. Note this was 2009.

I agree this blog is highlighting the irony in that. But I think you are overreaching and injecting your agenda when claiming that it says that "many folks asking for things to be “more inclusive” are asking for someone else to modify their behavior".
What was the main driver for a dynamic workflow with loops vs a rigid forward running only workflow. The non-deterministic nature of these loops with LLM decision points doesn't mesh well with the transparency requirement imho

Even a charitable read is condescending. This person just wrote they are in the innermost research circles. I think they are beyond the "scary name" - needs reassurance phase.
