Pickleball, it’s the only recreational sport I’ve liked as much my entire life, and I’ve tried many: tennis, soccer, judo, golf, basketball, biking, hiking, snowboarding, etc.
Things I like about pickleball are: it’s relatively cheap, easy to pick up, fun to play, highly social/community driven, and just the right intensity level for me.
In my opinion Perl is much more powerful than Awk, available just about everywhere Awk is available, and even explicitly takes inspiration from Awk for some features (like BEGIN blocks).
I love vifm! It honors the vim philosophy — it’s fast, configurable, and keyboard driven. I have it integrated with vim so that when I press “-“ it toggles a directory view. So seamless that it’s hard to tell that they’re separate apps.
