- The oil that they include is definitely a type of preservative
You seem really hung up on the preservatives thing and I was giving the benefit of the doubt, but now it is just disingenuous. If oil of all things in a competitors product as a preservative then I think the tremendous amount of salt in your product qualifies as well.
Op clarified it was a Cessna 421, so indeed pressurized. When these are ferried they put fuel tanks inside the cabin (these are called ferry tanks unsurprisingly), so they were indeed within arms reach.
What you’re saying about pricing makes little sense. Optimum and Spectrum territories do not overlap in the nyc area. There was never any competition between them.
Optimum does have to compete with Fios in some parts and near as I can tell their promotions are not that granular.
Huawei may make some decent products I don’t know, but the Nexus 6p was a complete piece of crap. Mine lasted barely a year and the service was abysmal. My reasoning for hating Huawei is because they suck shit, nothing to do with nationality.
Not only did Apple return to relevancy during ballmersoft but they completely surpassed Microsoft in revenue and profits. And it was in an industry that Microsoft had every tool necessary (tech, talent pool, supplier and carrier relationships, ip portfolio) to excel in (other than good leadership).
I’ll be the last to defend amazon but there are people that abuse the lax return policy (there are plenty of guides on the web of how best to do this) and it is unsurprising that amazon will address it.
Not that I feel sorry for them in anyway. Their stock mixing is basically fraud. The only thing that is more maddening are the corporate submissive boneheads that rise to the defense of the prime service whenever someone has a legitimate complaint.
Rusty Russell and Linus had a long working relationship at that point and Rusty was quite amused by that line. He quoted it in the talk he gave on futexes.
This exact email was quoted by Rusty Russell at the 2002 OLS. I recall him making fun of Linus going to a school that offered black stars. This argument is between two people that had an actual working relationship outside the internet.
What is not explicit about that statement? The evaluation of the variable is well defined in a Boolean context.
If you have to write “== true” everytime that’s your own idiosyncratic hangup. It has nothing to do with explicitness, it’s just redundant. The true test was explicit the moment you wrote if (
You haven’t read K&R C I’m going to guess. Terseness is a traditional component of C and UNIX (cf creat). I don’t care to debate the merits but that is a fact. Most C books in the 80s were written in this style. Furthermore in the days or micros code was generally terse for many and varied reasons. There were people typing code on membrane keyboards.
> JS does everything in its power to make life hard for the compiler.
This is a bit hyperbole. It could be worse, it could be python. Yes pypy does not have the investment of v8, but there is more to it than that. Yes js sucks but the language was relatively simple enough to get speedups that would not be possible in jitted python because frankly python is a steaming hodge lodge pile of shit when you take the system as whole (imnsho)
It was pretty much 99% law enforcements fault with a tiny bit the kids fault. If someone across state lines can call in a hoax and get someone killed then sorry but it’s pretty much on the LEA idiots.
