dude, it will be boon for multiplayer games though just like you said - no mods/fixes. Battle Royales are flooded with hackers/cheaters. Game creators have paid a big price due to it. But right now Cloud Gaming isn't that perfect to take over consoles and PC. It will be more about providing a console/pc game experience without actual console/pc. It will be a big leap for mobile gamers since they don't have to play watered-down AAA titles(Pubg Mobile, NFS, GTA) but can play real AAA games on their mobile.
Cloud gaming has been there for a decade, but now it has the potential to change the gaming course forever. With services like Google Stadia and GeForce Now already available, it’s just a matter of time before it’s a common practice in the Industry. For decades the video game industry has been about individual copies of games purchased for compatible systems. Some major game tech companies – Microsoft(xcloud), Google(stadia), Nvidia(Geforce now) – are increasingly focused on Cloud gaming, so could the industry change since we are definitely observing a pattern here.
