The real question is: How long does it take to UNLEARN an old keyboard layout?
I tried that switch to DVORAK before. After a few weeks, I could blind-type slowly in DVORAK, but whenever I went a bit faster, my QWERTY routines would kick in.
Interestingly, I also forgot how to spell many English words. It turns out I only remembered how to type those words on a QWERTY keyboard.
I think the originally accepted companies will have an advisor in addition to other resources, whereas other companies will have access to everything except an advisor. Src: Their latest email.
