I've been working on https://thumbnail.ai/ full time for a year now. It lets you make thumbnails for your social media and youtube videos with preset templates. Going great so far. I'm looking for a marketer/content creator to grow it.
I came to the same conclusion as the authors after generating 1000s of thumbnails[1]. OpenAI alters faces too much and smoothes out details by default. NanoBanana is the best but lacks high fidelity option. SeeDream is catching up to NanoBanana and sometimes is better. It's been too long since OpenAI's gpt-img-1 came out, hope they launch a better model soon.
Since finding out a Claude Code extension to run on VS Code/cursor, I use it less and less. With git and Claude Code, rolling back and forth is a breeze. Cursor is cooked, as the cool kids say now days. They need to adapt and find a moat.
You just upload a picture and pick a design type and it generates a thumbnail for you. Got good feedback last time I posted, steadily and slowly growing now.
I'm working on an AI thumbnail maker. You just upload a picture and pick a design type and it generates a thumbnail for you. It's still v1 and would appreciate feed back.
Definitely do bring a mask and glasses. The volcanic acid is no joke. Everything else would be provided by the company. They usually have camels to carry your stuff as well. Check out a group called Ethio Hiking Community on Telegram. They go roughly once a month.
Oh wow! I visited the Afar region in 2018. It's an incredible place. Pictures don't do it justice. Go if you can. Feels like being on Mars (not that we know). There are plenty of tour and travel groups that still go there. You will also get to sleep next to an active volcano (Ertale) on night 2. Be ready to hike. AMA if you're curious.
Most vegetable/fruit prices seems cheaper on the west coast. I assume because most are produced and in California and don't have the added transportation costs?
